I never had acne problems as a teen or young adult, but now as a "mature" woman I find myself with pimples, bumps and redness on my cheeks and forehead. I read about this product from a Squidoo lens written by an actual user, so I gave it a try. I've been using this creme plus a companion cleanser for redness reduction and they appear to be working. It's been less than 1 week and I'm seeing results - this after months of trying all sorts of other remedies. I recommend this if you have the beginnings of rosacea and want to try a natural solution before medications. I'll return with a follow up review in a few months.

I have been dealing with red, irritated skin on my neck for approximately 2 years. The problem had gotten so bad that I had to cut tags out of clothes, stop wearing collars that touched my neck, no necklaces, etc. Different doctors gave different diagnoses - rosacea, dermatitis, etc. Prescription meds did not help. Then I tried this product along with the redness relief soothing cleanser. What an amazing difference! The cleanser is a gel that began to soothe my skin the moment I applied it. I followed up with this night cream - it is a lotion, but clearly has a gel base. It felt wonderful just to smooth it on! Within 1 day, my bumpy, red skin felt completly healed - the bumps were gone, and my skin no longer felt irritated! In fact, my skin felt young again! When I say this product is life-changing I mean it - the nagging stress of having constantly irritated, itchy skin is gone. I am able to wear jewelry again, etc. I do not expect this product to help everyone - but if your problem is the same as mine, you might find it very beneficial. One other note - I orignially tried the CereVe product line as recommended by a dermatologist. While CeraVE is excellent, it did not help me. So if other products are not working for you, perhaps this one will.

I have been diagnosed with mild to moderate facial eczema. While this product is geared towards Rosacea patients, I decided to try it because I have a substantial redness, dryness and flaking on my face. I usually steer clear of products of this type, with all those weird chemicals as ingredients, but the natural beauty and health products have done nothing for my face so I decided to give this a shot.
After only one weeks use, applied after cleansing and before bed, I wake up with way less facial redness. Mind you, this is after only 1 week. Eucerin asks you give this product 1 month of use before you see results. Needless to say I'm happy, in fact I will be trying out the rest of the Eucerin Redness Relief line of products to see if I can achieve a sense of "normalcy" to my skin.
My only complaint, oddly enough, it does burn my skin when I apply it, not a lot, but enough that makes it quite uncomfortable. I would suggest giving your skin a rest, say a few minutes, after you cleanse, allowing your pores to close, before you apply.
All in all, it's definitely worth giving a shot if you're experiencing facial redness. You might be surprised.

For any one who has ever had a problem with red skin on their face Eucerin redness relief is the answer...I had red face for 40 years ..than I started to use the product ,now I can wear 1/2 the make I use to ..most all my redness is gone

I have chronic dermatitis/eczema issues, notably on my cheeks and bridge of nose. I keep this cream not for night use (I have my Kinerase Ultimate for that), but for use after plucking/exfoliating/depilating my face. (Yes, middle-age means more hair removal for face, dangit!). It works very nicely to moisturize and soothe after any sort of facial attention (whether it's plucking, shaving, exfoliating, or removing a whitehead/pimple).
It does "pill", though--you know, if you rub your face, it will roll up into little flecks and balls. So, this is a cream you apply gently and leave alone. Don't fuss. Hence, yeah, a night cream. :) But if you need some extra-soothing after facial treatments of any sort, this is very useful.
I hope amazon will get this on their Prime/Subscrive and Save program. I'd order it there to save.
