I feel like I have tried everything for my son's dry, itchy skin. I have changed soaps, the temp of his bathwater, frequency of his baths, etc. I read the reviews on this product, and I hope this will work for us.

This does wonders for a baby's diaper rash. My miracle solution: un-petroleum jelly plus a layer of non-talc powder (cornstarch works)equals a soft and rash-free baby bottom! Un-petroleum jelly also works great to take off eye makeup.

I got this from my local Whole Foods. I also just ordered it from Vitacost as well. My son has severe dry skin after our trip to Montana. I put this on him at bed time, the next day you could see results! Goes on smooth, I do not notice a smell, and best of all he does not scream about his skin hurting as we apply it! I am sending a tube of this to my sister for her child as well. Our house will not be without it. I had tried many healthy creams and lotions, but none have provided releif for the dry skin. Weleda, Beauty without Cruelty, Stonybrook Botanicals, Terressentials, Dr Bronner and Sundog, Lavera, Trillium Organics just to name a few. Amazons price on the Alba Jelly is not the best, this costs more here than at my local Whole Foods! But you can't beat the ease of just having it delivered when in a pinch. It takes me over an hour to get to Whole Foods, so I do not go often.
Give this stuff a try. I wish I had known of it SO much earlier, it would have saved my son great pains.

I love love love this stuff! My face is dry and sensitive, so I need all the moisture that I can get. At night time, I remove makeup, wash my face, use my toner, then moisturize my face and eyes and finish with a thick jelly to seal everything in and give my face a little extra hydration. Before I discovered this, I was using Elizabeth Arden's 8 Hour Cream. The Elizabeth Arden worked well, but there were several problems with it.
1. The smell. The 8 hour cream has fragrance (not at all good for my sensitive skin), and the smell was awful. My boyfriend wouldn't even come near me when I was wearing it.
2. The mineral oil. It burned my skin a bit. It didn't cause breakouts or redness, but it wasn't very soothing at all.
3. The price. I spend a bit more on my beauty products, but I try to mix the expensive with the cheap and try to find cheaper solutions that are still good quality. The 8 Hour Cream was about $25, so it wasn't crazy expensive, but it was still more than I would have liked to spend considering how much I use.
With the Un-Petroleum Jelly, all these issues were solved. It has no smell, no added fragrance, no mineral oil, feels oh so luscious when I put it on, and you can't beat the price. It's perfect in every way. When I finish putting all of my other things on my face, I put this all over, including under my eyes, on the eyelid, eyelashes and eyebrows. My lashes and brows feel so much more hyrdrated and my skin looks flawless. It just shows, if you like the idea of a product, search around, do some research and see what else you can find until you've found the perfect solution. That's what I did and I couldn't be happier with the outcome!
