God forbid you just slather it on because if any happens to get on your lips the taste is disgusting and very chemical-like. And please don't rub your eyes because your they will burn and water so much you'll swear you're about to go blind.



Somehow I'm going to give this three stars since I suppose it does do what it is intended to do, but it's not quite as "free and clear" as I was imagining a Cetaphil product to be.

I went to the dermatologist for help with my very dry and very sensitive skin. My dermatologist recommended that I no longer exfoliate due to the sensitivity and try Cetaphil. I'd heard of it before but never wanted to try it.



So I've been using Cetaphil for only a week, and my skin is radiant! My pores are tiny, my t-zone is no longer flaking, I have no more random annoying whiteheads, and my face is absolutely glowing. Even my boyfriend has commented on my newly supple complexion!



The product also doesn't leave my skin looking/feeling oily later on, even in the morning after I wake up. Cetaphil feels very balanced and light while managing to be quite effective. I also like that it is fragrance free -- I do not need the added ingredient on my sensitive face.



I ~highly~ recommend this product if you're still looking for one that works. Wow, what a difference! :)



(For posterity's sake: I wash with just water in the morning, pat dry, and apply a pump to a pump and a half of the moisturizer to my face and neck. Skin does not feel tight with an adequate amount of moisturizer! In the evening, I use the facial cleanser, my Alba Hibiscus toner, and finish with the moisturizer.)

I love buff puff pads because they are the only thing that keeps my skin clean and clear of blackheads. I'm a mobile mechanic working in the field a lot and get covered in grease oil and dirt all the time. I love these manual microdermabrasion sponges. They make my face feel so clean. I had a hard time finding them, so I bought an imposter - it just fell apart and I noticed my face didn't feel as smooth while I was without a buf-puf. I got got this machine and have used it twice already. I love this little machine, small but power. It has a safety flip on the sides to protect you from getting burn from the heat cup. I used other machines before, this is the best. It heats up fast, and will turn off if the water gets too low. Just remember to use distill water as directed to avoid mineral build up. The steamer just arrived and i used it for the first time.(Its better to leave the unit working alone for some minutes before using on your face for the first time as it helps to rinse and to leave-off the kinda new-plastic odour) i added water upto the halfway and after a few minutes steam started to come out. Fine steam comes more thickly if you switch "ON" the Ozone switch. the steamer also has an auto-cutoff feature (dont know it detects water level or the temperature),it went off when my water level was below the low line. it makes a continuous beeping sound then. I switched off the unit for 5 minutes and added more water upto the high level and its again ready for another session!.i ordered the stuff after many search in vain for a Japan made steamer (guess the whole world lives on China things nowadays- Even Panasonic and Sanyo thingies are nowadays made in China!! um.). Though the unit is made in China it seems a good one for the price. The extension hand through where the steam comes out is very much adjustable (clockwise/counterclockwise) and you also can add aroma oils on the supplied strips (to be attached on the steamer hand) with the unit.Your hands will also be protected by the cool protective cover over the removable water jar which is hot during operation (always check for this feature if you are looking for other makes!!). Read the product manual first. ALSO I WILL BE REPORTING HERE IF I FIND ANY SNAGS WITH THE UNIT. So far, the only small dissatisfying thing about this steamer is about its USER Manual. it doesnt say all these details i said above like the auto-cutoff feature!! Good luck guys. Thanks. Rgds.

I've used this steamer a total of 7 times. The steamer itself is awesome and I love how its small and portable. The only disadvantage is the length of the arm. Its too short. I haven't figured out a good way to place it where its comfortable for the person that I'm working on. Its either too far or too close. The advantages would be the size, steams very fast, and the aromatherapy slot.

If you don't have a problem with dry skin and you don't like heavy/thick moisturizing cream, then don't get this product. But if you have dry skin, it's great.



I have dry skin, which is especially aggravating in the winter. I've tried a bunch of moisturizers but they never seemed to help very much. My dermatologist recommended Eucerin or Lubriderm, which I used this past winter, and if I use it every day my skin never bothered me. Yes it is pretty thick, and it does leave your face feeling slightly sticky for a while. This stickiness (which I assume is due to a layer on top of the skin that doesn't quite finish absorbing) seems helps protect my skin from the heating and dry air in the winter. And at least some of it must get absorbed into your skin, because before I got Eucerin I also tried putting petroleum jelly on to protect my face from the heat - and it didn't really help either.



In the summer, the thickness of this cream is more unpleasant, but I find that by using much less of it and putting it on while my face is still damp/slightly wet I mitigate the stickiness problem.



In either season though, I only use it as a night cream as during the day I'd want an SPF moisturizer anyway.



I can't really say anything about the anti-wrinkle properties, as I'm in my late 20's and haven't noticed any wrinkles yet. So why am I using this instead of just basic Eucerin body lotion? Superstition, I guess. I don't know much about which chemicals are anti-aging (and I suspect neither does the cosmetic industry either, really), and I'm probably just succumbing to marketing, but these jars last for a long time (two jars got me through 4-5 months of every-day use and another 2-3 months of occasional use - your mileage may vary) and so it's not a very expensive indulgence (especially considering I would have had to use some kind of lotion anyway).

My dermatologist recommended it to me, and I have used this product now for five years. I can't recommend it highly enough! I am pretty vain, so I use this in addition to prescription retinoids from the dermatologist to reduce the signs of aging. This product is ideal for those with sensitive skin - even Aveeno can have scents that cause irritation.



I want to liberally apply a cream at night, and I find that the $45 night creams are so pricey that I use them sparingly. At this price I can use enough for my face and neck and be generous with the application. As other reviewers have commented, it is butter colored and has a thicker consistency than some creams - many other brands are lighter, with a more whipped feel, so if that is important to you, consider that in your purchase.

I have combination skin. The T-zone is pro acne. I used a lot of products in my life, they were generally absorbed then. But a change happened in my mature years which made it hard for me in the choice of my cosmetics.I spent quite some money on hydrogene peroxide and salycilic acid based . These left my skin extremely dry, but I had to use them because my skin broke out at many moisturizers. Fortunately,in my reading I discovered about glycolic acid (found in grapes) products which helped to balance pH acidity in the skin.

I found Amazon advertisement about Aqua Glycolic Cleanser. I tried it together with the Facial Cream. I put a sunscreen on top. My skin is now smooth and refined. Its comfortable texture lasts all day.

Combination skin is a big nuisance. Why don't you try Aqua Glycolic Cleaser as a first step to solve this prblem?

First time I used the cleanser, toner, and cream; I got a rash and bumps on my neck. Be careful if you have sensitive skin. Just discovered after using this product that I'm allergic to the alpha-hydroxy...eeeks!

I grew up with acne prone skin, for years I was testing products, none that would completely satisfy me. Even now that I am older, I am prone to small breakouts here and there. Aqua Glycolic Facial Cleanser has been a great help to me over the past few years. Not only do I feel like my face is more lush and hydrated, I get far less fewer breakouts than before.



I suggest this product if you are looking for a daily cleanser. Depending on your skin type, this cleanser provides sufficient moisturizing for you. An overall good cleanser.



Tip: Use as directed, it makes a big difference. Also, if you are a male who shaves, this is perfect for shaving! No razor bumps at all!

THis product is amazing! I have been using it for a year and a half now and my skin has transformed! You need to use the three (cleanser, toner and lotion) in order to get the full effect. THe reason why this works great on young skin with acne as well as more mature skin with wrinkles and occasional cysts or breakouts is because both are suffering from the same condition.-poor cell turnover. The faster your skin can renew itself with new cells, the less likely it will be clogged or begin to look dull. The alpha hydroxy acid helps the dead cells to slough off and new ones to replace them. It helps with mature skin because it keeps your cells active and doing their job hence the more dewey complexion and smoothness that occurs with an alpha hydroxy acid. The magic ingredient that makes this product different is the glycolic acid. Derived from sugar, this acid is the key player in the cell turnover. Try this product you will love it. Also if you use the facewash on a dry face, the results are even better. Adding water can sometimes change the PH of a product making it less effective. This is why I use a mild cleanser like cold cream to remove my makeup and then pat dry my face and in circular motions apply the cleanser by aqua glycolic. Then tone and then put the lotion on!

i have very sensitive skin and i have always had a hard time finding shower items. i went to a dermatologist and she recommended this item for facial wash and shaving. you have to ask at the counter. they don't have it on the shelves.
