I have never used a peel anywhere near this potent ( usually 10% drugstore brands) so I was VERY careful. I just left it on a few minutes. However, it was so hot that I doubt I could have stood it much longer even had I wanted to. I had never had a professional facial so did not know what to expect. I am really excited about using this as I can see it is powerful and effective. I left it on my lips just seconds and all the old skin just came right off! I expected my lips to crack and bleed after that but they didn't! I have always been a 'do it yourselfer' including filler injections for face but this I would caution not to overdo it as it could damage your skin . It definitely is effective so if you can use extreme restraint, try it. Start with a small area first so you see how it works. I also used it on my son's back for acne as he did not want to use Acutane again. It was not so hot to him and worked very well with just one application. We are going to do some more on him as well. You can also use a Q-tip to do specific areas , lines, pimples,scars, etc. Oh, even after three weeks my skin still has color to it whereas before I was very pale as I have been dealing with a long term illness. I look healthier now too!

First, a warning: be careful with this product!!! It can cause burns and scaring. Don't use the eyedropper to apply it directly to your skin or use it under your eyes! Everyone's skin is different, so be sure to test it first.



That said, I love this product. I've been using it on my legs, arms, chest, neck and face to get rid of age spots, Poikiloderma of Cevatte (sp?) (darkness under the jaw line) and old dark acne scars. After a few treatments, it's working like a charm. And compared to expensive treatments at the Dermatologist's office, this is very affordable.



This is what I did. I first "toughened up" my skin by using Retin-A on it a few times. Before application I washed and dried my skin. Then I used half a cotton ball to apply the peel over a largish area, say, a half a cotton ball for my face, another half for my chest, another for the top of my thighs, and so on.... It stung for a while, but was tolerable. I did not rinse or wash it off. When I did wash -- to help the peeling along -- I used Glytone Body Wash which I applied with gloves. I wanted to hide in the house for a week or two after the first treatment, but subsequent treatments were better tolerated by my skin. After two or three treatments, I switched to using a cotton swab just on the offending spots.



My skin tone is definitely more even now. I'm especially happy with the results under my jaw line, which was quite dark before. It did make me break out in that area though. I'm not sure why, as I'm very prone to acne, and it didn't make me break out anywhere else. I think it'll take one more bottle to get to where I want to be, and then I plan to use it occasionally for maintenance after that.

Before buying this product I read all reviews of course, and researched all the other peels that were different percentages (50% & 70%) but was a little hesitant to try those because of the pain and peeling factor. I am 33 and look much younger than my age because I have always been a big fan of facials (whether on my own at home or in a day spa) and this year decided to begin adding chemical peels to my day spa facials. Well, they are incredibly expensive and with the economy what it is, I'd rather do it myself.



The product arrived quickly and has detailed instructions. Although I am unsure of what to use (besides a Q-tip to apply it) I have tried this product a couple different ways and love the results no matter what. The first couple of times I used it, I just added several drops to my nightly facial moisturizer (because I was scared of the possible results) and although I felt a slight sting the first few minutes, I went to bed and had no problems. When I would shower in the mornings, and sluff off dead skin how I usually do, I noticed my skin did look more radient. (I am fair skinned and blonde naturally) so I take that to mean it is getting in deeper than I do with my morning facial process. After a week and a half of doing that I decided to try applying the peel directly to my entire face, starting with my fine lines to apply to most of the product. Use a fan, or wave air into your face to take the sting away. I left it on about 2 or 3 minutes, I waited til the sting went away, and rinsed my face. My boyfriend came into the bathroom to hear what all the commotion was about because he doesn't have a fan or blow dryer so I was using my hand to wave the air on my face, jumping around and saying "oooooh it's working"... because of the sting while it was on. So after I rinsed, my face was very rosy... he commented on it. I did peel a little bit a couple of days afterwards, but didn't get the whole scab thing I hear some people writing about. I will keep trying this product, but the reason I like it so much (besides the results that I can see- it's getting rid of a deeper surface of skin than I could do without it) it isn't too hardcore... I was able to show my face in public immediately afterwards. I highly recommend this product, especially for first-time chemical peel users. I see results, and it's not too bad with pain and peeling... for me at least.

I have used this product 3 times so far and I love it! it working-well, so far it's working. I used to use salicylic acid peel, it worked for a while then it stopped working. I hate to give this a low rating because i'm sure it worked for other people. It just wasnt right for me. I thought by getting 70% that id have a good enough strength to see some results, however...it didnt do anything. I felt like NOTHING was happening on my skin. I probably wouldnt get this if you're used to having things put on your skin...be it a peel or any other topical liquid or cream. I'm sure for those of you who dont exfoliate or, if you dont do much at all...this will be fine for you. I will say, though, that the people that work there were very helpful. I ordered this, plus a bottle of 35% glycolic acid peel solution. I started with the salicylic acid that accompanied my order, leaving it on for 4 minutes before then putting on the lactic acid solution. The lactic acid is gentle enough not to irritate or feel too tingly, but strong enough to really exfolliate and leave the skin feeling tighter and extremely smooth. I used the lactic acid once a week for 3 weeks, then did the glycolic for 3 weeks. Both are extremely effective. Crows feet are diminishing, acne has disappeared, skin is smooth and glowing. I love this stuff. You won't see the skin peel, as these solutions aren't like a tca peel, but used regularly, they do reveal new, pink, glowing skin, they do remove impurities, they do tighten the skin and help produce new collagen. The cranberry cleanser along with the pumpkin peel have really smoothed out my skin, giving it a healthy glow! I did not see immediate results when I only left the peel on for 5-10 minutes, but when I started leaving it on for 30 minutes 2-3 times a week, I noticed significant results! My skin never feels irritated or overly dry from this product. I do, however, have mild acne, so those with dry skin might not have the same results. I also use the cleanser after the peel (as well as before) because I'm afraid it might clog my pores, though this is not part of the directions.

I purchased both this and the Fruit Fiesta Peel based on another review. I did what that reviewer said, and alternated between the two. Both peels are incredible. This one tingles a lot less than the Fruit Fiesta, but does a great job at reducing pore size, fading sun spots and making my skin tone more even. I would highly recommend both peels, as they are very effective for home peels without being so strong you could do damage. I would definitely repurchase both and am very happy with this regime.

Ok.. so I bought this product because I was wanting it to help with-hyperpigmentation/acne scars/acne/oily skin/large pores. Before I had bought this product, I was a user of the glycolic acid peel 35%, it worked very well with acne and oily skin. But it didn't work well at fading hyperpigmentation(which was why I bought the glycolic acid in the first place). So, I try the HQ+ peel on a small spot of a breakout. It did sting way more than the glycolic acid, but it wasn't unbearable. The next day I notice my skin start to peel and the acne in that spot had shrunk in size. I now tried the product on other spots, like my forehead and chin. The pores on my forehead were so much smaller after rinsing off the peel. I will continue to use this product once a week and every week, and after a few weeks I will comment my further results!(:

This product does what it claims to do, it exfoliates dead skin and leaves it soft and dewy. Other reviews stated that it did not work on scaring...and that would be correct because this product makes no claims to do so. I recommend this to anyone who wants to gently resurface the dead cells from your skin. I'm purchasing my third jar.

I was nervous about doing a chemical peel on my face without a specialist around so I bought one of the gentler formulas to use on my face. I was hoping just to exfoliate some of the dullness from my skin with this, but was surprised at just how much of a difference it made to my facial skin.



My boyfriend who never noticed when I had 6" of hair cut off and my hair dyed from dark brown to red noticed actually asked me what I was doing to my skin the day after I first used this. He said I looked less tired and happier. So I was more than happy with the results.



It not only made the skin look softer any other products I put on for a couple of days after using this seem to be absorbed better so it makes my moisturisers etc seem to work better too. My skin does go a little pink for a few hours after use so I would recommend it as best to use before bed time and to make sure you follow the directions carefully as I could see how it could burn your skin if left on too long. Also make sure you wear lots of sunscreen on your face for the weeks you are using this as I've heard horror stories of home peels sensitizing faces to sun damage and people ending up with brown blotchy faces. OK so you should wear sunscreen on your face all the time but be extra careful while using this.

I used this peel on my leg and had the first peel May 27. Although the company said this would be good for hyperpigmentation, I didn't know just how good ... until now. I've had some brown spots from a laser procedure and I've used so many depigmenting creams/gels but they didn't work. Apparently this one is since they are slowly fading now. I'll do my second peel soon and I'm hoping for more improvement.



ETA: I did my second peel today and there's more improvement: The spots are fading more. I can't wait for my sixth peel, which will happen sometime later this month. Since I'm used to AHAs, my skin can tolerate peels every five days. And this peel is nonirritating.

I tried this product to help clear up some mild/moderate acne on my chin, forehead and sides of my face. I used the peel every five days for a month and my skin looks and feels amazing! I tolerated the 50% well as I am somewhat used to glycolic, but honestly this peel if pretty mild. Just be careful if you have picked anything before peeling, you will burn that spot and leave it red! Best to use it after mild extractions.
