I'm a young guy with nice skin (never had any problems with my skin) and I'll say, this thing does wonders IF I had dry skin! Sadly, I don't! -- wait that's a good thing.



I have tried other Aveeno products and frankly, while it's good -- it's not something I would put on everyday (I recommend the Daily Moisturizing Lotion [Green] for that!). It makes your skin VERY hydrated, thus the result is a heavy feeling, similar to a greasy barrier feeling (although it's NOT grease or oil). It feels more like an intense hydrating night cream for you body. When I touch my skin, you can tell for a fact that I have lotion on... You know, that kind of not-so-smooth feeling? Yeah, I'm putting this on at night before I go to sleep if I would like to wake up with hydrated, fresh skin! Not during the day where I can sweat and I feel very icky.



Positives:

- GREAT hydration! So great that I would prefer NOT to use it everyday/mornings... I suggest applying at night!

- Great for those with allergies -- non-comedogenic (won't clog pores), fragrance-free (there is NO menthol in here, contrary to the other review), etc.



Negatives:

I only get dry skin in the winter and this stuff is fantastic it dries dry and a little goes a long way for me.

I like that there is no fragrance, it is not super thick and wipes on easily... the only problem is the bottle runs out so fast because my wife who has VERY SENSITIVE skin uses it all the time.

I am willing to pimp this stuff out because I feel it is a great at moisturizing my dry skin without feeling oily or sticky afterwards...

I'm one of those lucky ones that really is sensitive to poison ivy (or oak or sumac, take your pick). The urishol oil spreads like wildfire on my skin. At the moment, I use 3 different products, two made by Tec Labs Oak-N-Ivy, like the one here.



Pro:

-If used AS DIRECTED within 2 hours of contact, generally removes all of the irritant

-Also good on an on-going basis to clean areas to prevent spread (don't dig your nails in! see our other reviews for itch relief)

-Shake well so that the mineral spirits mix well

-Light odor and no discoloration of skin, nothing to flake off as you rinse it off... no "pink stuff" like Mom's old-fashioned product

-This jumbo size is the only size! If you're washing with it like I do, you'll probably use a ton of it.

-Also, can be used to clean clothes and I have done so successfully, but it does use a lot of product. (I would note that I often throw away t-shirts, socks, anything that might be heavily contaminated and easy to replace, just in case.)

-According to the bottle, good for skunks and other undesireables... originally developed in the early 60's to remove radioactive dust from clothes and skin. It's properties for poison ivy/oak/sumac were a happy accident.



Con:

-Only provides a very brief itch relief... for that you must switch to another item (see our other reviews)

Dove beauty bars are generally great products with a price that's affordable enough to use as an everyday shower soap. While a little pricier than some soaps, Dove is usually easy enough on the skin to even be used effectively on the face. The sensitive skin bars take this even further for those needing an even gentler cleaning solution. It's great to not need a separate soap for your face and to have soap you can use as much as you want without your skin suffering for it. However, the lack of binding agents is a major negative. This soap CANNOT be left to sit in water or handled more than necessary. Doing so will break up the soap, which, even with care will not have as long a life as most soap bars. This can add a lot to the cost of the product in the long run. So, I would recommend trying the regular dove beauty bar before you go with the sensitive skin formula. However, for those who need something extra gentle, this is certainly worth a purchase.

I started using this instead of the regular formula Dove (and other competitors like Lever) due to a skin irritation. The doctor actually prescribed this soap since it has moisturizers and no irritants. For that, it's certainly the best available- I haven't had a problem since changing to it, and am effectively buying this in bulk now since it appears I need it.



The one major complaint I have about this soap is that apparently one of the things they took out was the binder. Compared even to regular Dove (which isn't particularly known for its durability) this soap has a very short life-span. This is largely due to the fact that when it gets to about a half inch in thickness, it crumbles and disintegrates- and this is through regular use, not abuse like dropping it. This results in a lot of wastage, and a bar usually lasts me about 2-3 weeks. The original Dove lasts at least a month per bar, and some cheaper soaps like Lever 2000 can last a good two months. As such, though these sensitive skin bars are great for your skin, they certainly don't come cheap. I wouldn't recommend you use them unless the regular Dove and/or competitors' soaps cause you skin problems.

Spellbound is an excellent lotion. Dont let the only 4 bronzers fool you. They are stronger then some of the 20x 50x and 100x bronzer lotions. Color can been seen after just 1 visit. It is a silicon based lotion which means its not greasy. I am sensitive to skin breakouts and have had no problems with this lotion. Absorbtion is excellent. The smell is decent and you dont smell like a coconut when you come out of the tanning. There is no oranging of the cuticles and between your fingers. The color recieved from the lotion is a true brown and not orangy.



The downside to this lotion is it does rub off on the towel and sadly your clothes. If you are hardcore and set on getting really dark as fast as possible then you should not take a shower for at least 8 hours for maximum bronzer absorbtion into the skin. You will get much darker much quicker this way.

I didn't have dry skin problems to begin with - I got the lotion to "try" it out and see if the aloe/moisturizer formula helped heal acne scars. While my acne scars didn't improve, the lotion certainly moisturized my skin, made it feel good (but not greasy), and definitely lasted longer than the previous lotion I was using (Lubriderm).



And yeah, washing your hands won't get rid of the stuff, so one application is usually good for several hours. Very convenient!



The only downside was that during the summer, the lotion made my palms sweat unbearably. Just spend a few minutes scrubbing your palms with soap to get it off.

Huggies Soft Skin Shea Butter Baby wipes are an excellent all-purpose wipe. The scent is good, although I prefer the green tea and the coconut mango variety. These wipes are quite refreshing to use as a makeup remover and for cleaning the face as well other purposes.



I try to keep some in the office as well as the car and the bathroom, as they are good all-round for cleaning up.



You can purchase the refills to go in this dispenser which I would recommend to cut down on landfill garbage.. The box is sturdy and will last a long time.

I've tried every type of baby wipe that's out there, and I always come back to Huggies. They make the best baby wipes on the market. They are thick enough so that they don't rip or tear when using them. They never dry out. They smell wonderful and the addition of Shea Butter leaves the skin clean and soft. I use these cloths not just for changing the baby, but also for cleaning and personal use as well. I keep a travel package in my bag at all times. Perfect for cleaning your hands in a pinch or when you want to "freshen up." Once you use Hugggies wet wipes, I guarantee you won't ever want to use another brand!

I have always loved Huggies wipes because they are much thicker than the competing brands. I only bought this scent because Amazon was out of the Cucumber and Green Tea. I do love the scent, though. It is very light, and does seem to help with my baby's skin.

I have been on the subscribe and save program for over a year for this item. I also get these for my daughter in laws. We all love the nice smell of the wipes and the thickness of them. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that uses a lot of wipes. I have tried all different brands and none of them are thick and sturdy like these. They don't come a part in your hand or so thin that you need more and more wipes to clean up your toddler. Definitely would recommend this product to anyone with older infants and definitely toddlers that are not trained yet. We also use them for face and hand wiping. They are gentle for little hands and faces. The shea butter is moisturing and the childrens skin does not break out or get irritated. Great product
