Base charger does what it supposed to do - keep the wonderful Sonicare brush charged. The pity is that Philips sells the Sonicare brushes in pairs and it is difficult to locate an extra charging base for a family member who does not share the same bathroom or residence - such as those who travel or are away at college. Thanks to an Amazon supplier who was independent of Philips, I was able to buy an extra charger at a reasonable price.

Mfg provides only one in the package forcing the consumer to go out to buy a second charger.The Amazon supplier send the charger within a day or so. Very fast delivery and a professional company.
