Choosing a Peel:

Glycolic: stimulates collagen growth more effectively than any of the other peels. It's small molecule allows it to slip beneath the epidermis to reach the collagen fibers below and results in 15%-25%  thickening over 12 weeks. Glycolic acid generally causes little or no visible peeling.

I have never used a peel anywhere near this potent ( usually 10% drugstore brands) so I was VERY careful. I just left it on a few minutes. However, it was so hot that I doubt I could have stood it much longer even had I wanted to. I had never had a professional facial so did not know what to expect. I am really excited about using this as I can see it is powerful and effective. I left it on my lips just seconds and all the old skin just came right off! I expected my lips to crack and bleed after that but they didn't! I have always been a 'do it yourselfer' including filler injections for face but this I would caution not to overdo it as it could damage your skin . It definitely is effective so if you can use extreme restraint, try it. Start with a small area first so you see how it works. I also used it on my son's back for acne as he did not want to use Acutane again. It was not so hot to him and worked very well with just one application. We are going to do some more on him as well. You can also use a Q-tip to do specific areas , lines, pimples,scars, etc. Oh, even after three weeks my skin still has color to it whereas before I was very pale as I have been dealing with a long term illness. Derma-e makes a cream that is absorbed easily, even in the hot and humid summer time. It's non-greasy, and a little goes a long way. It doesn't clog pores and works well on both the dry areas and the oily T-Zone (don't know how they do that!). I can use it in dry winter and humid summer, and it works well in both seasons. I've used creams much more expensive than this (Creme de la Mer) and think that Derma-e Hyauronic Acid Day Cream is even better. My skin is smooth and dewy. Love it. The smell is wonderful too.

I just received my 3 piece skincare system and have only used it once so far, but my face already feels clean and softer. The cleanser did sting a little bit but certainly no worse than other cleansers I've used made to control acne. No it doesn't get soapy, but many other acne cleansers don't get soapy either, so I don't see why that's an issue for some people.

I'm 39 and have been dealing with acne since I was 13, I'm really tired of it. I've tried Proactive and most other otc products with little to no success in helping to clear my skin, which is also sensitive, so some products seem to cause more harm than good. I usually avoid using any kind of moisturizer on my face because they always make me break out. So, I'm giving this entire 3 piece system a try and I'm in the middle of a very bad acne breakout. I'll see what happens and I'll give an update when I have some results, good or bad.

I purchased this to try and improve my skin. i started getting mild breakouts here and there and while things could be worse, it was still irritating. i switched mineral makeups and tinted moisturizers thinking that could be the cause. after some research i decided to try this. it has been a month since i started using this. i am not crazy about the cleanser, it does not give you that "clean" feeling(i understand the reviews with the filmy feeling). i have found that the toner and face cream are excellent, not greasy and absorbs quickly. the toner is alcohol based but it really deep cleans yet it may irritate dry or super sensitive skin. i use this set at night and a oil free spf during the day to protect from sun. my face is smoother , more even toned and if i do get a small breakout ,it disappears in about a day. i only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the cleanser factor.

I ordered this, plus a bottle of 35% glycolic acid peel solution. I started with the salicylic acid that accompanied my order, leaving it on for 4 minutes before then putting on the lactic acid solution. The lactic acid is gentle enough not to irritate or feel too tingly, but strong enough to really exfolliate and leave the skin feeling tighter and extremely smooth. I used the lactic acid once a week for 3 weeks, then did the glycolic for 3 weeks. Both are extremely effective. Crows feet are diminishing, acne has disappeared, skin is smooth and glowing. I love this stuff. I was nervous about doing a chemical peel on my face without a specialist around so I bought one of the gentler formulas to use on my face. I was hoping just to exfoliate some of the dullness from my skin with this, but was surprised at just how much of a difference it made to my facial skin.



My boyfriend who never noticed when I had 6" of hair cut off and my hair dyed from dark brown to red noticed actually asked me what I was doing to my skin the day after I first used this. He said I looked less tired and happier. So I was more than happy with the results.



It not only made the skin look softer any other products I put on for a couple of days after using this seem to be absorbed better so it makes my moisturisers etc seem to work better too. My skin does go a little pink for a few hours after use so I would recommend it as best to use before bed time and to make sure you follow the directions carefully as I could see how it could burn your skin if left on too long. Also make sure you wear lots of sunscreen on your face for the weeks you are using this as I've heard horror stories of home peels sensitizing faces to sun damage and people ending up with brown blotchy faces. OK so you should wear sunscreen on your face all the time but be extra careful while using this.

I used this peel on my leg and had the first peel May 27. Although the company said this would be good for hyperpigmentation, I didn't know just how good ... until now. I've had some brown spots from a laser procedure and I've used so many depigmenting creams/gels but they didn't work. Apparently this one is since they are slowly fading now. I'll do my second peel soon and I'm hoping for more improvement.



ETA: I did my second peel today and there's more improvement: The spots are fading more. I can't wait for my sixth peel, which will happen sometime later this month. Since I'm used to AHAs, my skin can tolerate peels every five days. And this peel is nonirritating.

I tried this product to help clear up some mild/moderate acne on my chin, forehead and sides of my face. I used the peel every five days for a month and my skin looks and feels amazing! I tolerated the 50% well as I am somewhat used to glycolic, but honestly this peel if pretty mild. Just be careful if you have picked anything before peeling, you will burn that spot and leave it red! Best to use it after mild extractions.

I'm not one to take medicine of any kind or go to doctors. But when I had my thumbs lock up on me I had to get shots of cortazone. Well that was painful and lasted about 6 months. A few years ago I suffered with osteoarthritis in my fingers. A physical therapist suggested Hyaluronic Acid. I had never heard of it.. I had tried Glucosamine and Chondritin before, but without improvement. Hyaluronic Acid worked much better and my fingers are much less swollen and they are no longer painful. You need to keep taking them for continued relief. The tablets are large but coated making them easy to swallow. They also have a nice minty taste.
