I bought this because I wanted a pedometer that I can drop in my pocket. It's nice looking and comfortable. The features are nice. It's easy to set. Customer service is great. Trouble is, this pedometer, regardless of the numerous glowing reviews, is inaccurate.



A 12 step auto filter counteracts bouncing in the pocket, but causes the pedometer to undercount during daily movement by about 50% during tests on the waist.



I have personally tested this pedometer against numerous other pedometers and find it inferior.



I'm now wearing a Yamax Power Walker and like it. I would not recommend any Omron pedometer for the reason stated above.

I ordered from Amazon. com the HEM-705CP IntelliSense Automatic Blood pressure Monitor and Printer. As usual, Amazon was prompt in sending it to my home quickly. When I first tried it, I said, "This thing does not work; I need to return it!" It had recorded my bp 20-30 points higher than my wrist BP monitor every time I tried it! After trying it several times and then using the wrist BP monitor, I realized it was the wrist monitor that was off the 20-30 points and it went promptly in the trash! Now I have an accurate monitor that has already helped me take the necessary steps to lower my bp. Reliability is so important! Once you get the knack of properly placing the cuff (I had the help of my father-in-law, a physician), this product provides fast blood pressure and pulse readings. The memory function is particularly useful for keeping track of blood pressure and pulse. I would rate it higher if not for the fact that machine is very sensitive to placement of cuff - a 1/4 inch to the left or right can produce significant differences in readings.
