Finally something that has finally gotten rid of my acne. I was using benzoyl peroxide, just to have my acne get worse. This dead sea mud soap helped remove acne off my face. It really works great if you take a few minutes and really rub it into your face. I love using this soap in the morning instead of my old cleanser. this soap is all natural and has dead sea minerals and glycerin, but no harsh chemicals. Some cleansiers and soaps I've tried would overdry my skin which would cause it to break out even more, but this one balances the oils without overdrying. I recommend it if you have serious acne or even occasional breakouts or blemishes.

The first week of using the Deitanseki soap yielded fantastic results. However, after using this product for 4 weeks, it became obvious that my acne condition was only worsening. After the clear spell, it just got worse and worse. I am 26 years old and have been battling an oily acne prone complexion for 10 years. My condition has only worsened as I have gotten older. I was looking for a natural alternative to acne treatment. I had previously been using Proactiv, but after almost three years it had stopped working. I have mild to moderate acne, and this product caused my acne to reach the higher moderate levels, possibly severe if I continue use. I gave this product three stars considering it did give my skin a pleasant clean feeling without drying out my skin. It just didn't help with my acne. The bar would certainly last over 3 months.

Great product. Lasts reallllyyyyy long. Didn't overly dry my skin, but it did dry up small pimples =) I tried to cut it up, but it didn't slice too nicely because the soap is very dense - so it broke at irregular parts. I get a small piece and work it into a lather between my palms. It lathers surprisingly well. The smell as a little off-putting for me, but my friend thinks it smells good. I would buy it again, but that probably won't happen until next year seeing as I only use it 3-4 times weekly and the piece I broke off hasn't gotten much smaller.

I have a very oily skin and at first I was skeptical about this product.

However, I am now about to order my second bar as this is just a wonderful soap! It leaves my face dry but not too dry, clean and acne free.



Pros:

- Very good face soap

- No more blackheads

- Significant improvement in acne



Cons:

- Too big - I had to cut mine into half so it can fit in my travel bag. Absolutely not a reason to not buy this soap



Suggestion: Best to wash the face before you go to sleep and also, even more important: wash your face with soap when you wake up in the morning - it will make a big difference!

I use this product and am very pleased for general laundry cleaning. IF you have stained items I suggest using Charlie's spray cleaner as a pretreatment which also works great. When you first use this product it suggests running a small load as this product will clean out old soap deposits and will appear very sudsy. I have a LG front loading machine and this did not occur. I think it was because I've only used Seventh Generation and ECO laundry detergents which both are also coconut oil based and low suds. There is no fragrance once you retrieve laundry from the washer. By this I also mean if a pet had an urinary accident this soap eliminates the odor, even potent cat urine! Besides cleaning well, another nice outcome is NO fabric softener or dryer sheets are needed. As a real test I line dried a couple of bath towels. Usually they dry stiff and rough as if starch had been applied. Surprisingly they were very soft just as they are from the dryer. The beauty of this is your towels will absorb and dry you faster since fabric softener and dryer sheets coat the towel making it less absorbent. I also ordered their laundry powder but have not tried it yet. This product is very cost-effective, safe for the environment, and made in the USA by a family owned business. What more could you ask?

I love Charlie's soap. I have been using it almost one year now. I bought Charlie's because I needed it for my son's cloth diapers. I can't use a soap that has any additives or the diapers will be less absorbent. I decided to use Charlie's on everything because I liked the results. I found the 1 gallon jug of Charlie's to be difficult to use because of the pump. Maybe I had a defective pump - or two(I tried two different pumps that both came with my purchase - directly from the charlie's soap web site), but I couldn't ever get either of them to give me the same measurement of liquid. Some squirts I would get a lot and some I would get a little. I ended up fighting with the pump so often and using more than I needed most of the time so I poured my charlie's soap into a regular squirt bottle and measured how many squirts I needed to get my prescribed amount. The problem was solved, but because of all the fighting, my 1 gallon jug did not last as long as it should have. After I ran out, I decided to try the powder. Charlie's laundry powder is much easier to measure and I find it less messy and less stressful. I do wish the powder came in a medium size. I wash diapers every night, so eighty loads of laundry goes quick. I do keep a small bottle of the liquid detergent handy for stains (great on carpet too). Charlie's is a wonderful product that gets out most any kid or pet stain without leaving a residue or smell! They just need to work on their pump design.

I've been using Charlie's Liquid Laundry Soap for over a year now and I will not use anything else. I used to be a Tide addict but Charlie's Soap changed that. It's great because it doesn't leave residue in your clothing, it rinses completely, so you don't need fabric softener. It also doesn't leave behind a smell. The clothing is clean and smells like clean clothing! It leaves the clothing soft and I don't have problems with static even though we live in a very dry place.

This is a good product (and cheaper just to buy it at the Charlie's website). However, for certain people it can cause a skin reaction. We used this soap for a while and it worked great. This was the first time I'd ever tried Charlie's Soap. I purchased it because I wanted something more natural to wash my newborn baby's clothes with. So far, I love it! As soon as I finish off the rest of our Tide, I am planning on washing all of our clothes with Charlie's soap. I don't use any fabric softner anymore and I don't even miss it. Well, I miss that wonderful smell...but the clothes seem just as soft.
