I had initially used this product from the sample packs provided by my salon aesthetician. I had loved it then. Then I ordered the product from Amazon. And realised there is a big difference. The product in the sample packs was more granular which I wanted, while the one that I ordered was more creamy texture. I was very disappointed with the product.

So far, I've used this for 2 weeks and I feel fresher. I got hooked and started using it 2-3 times per day. Usually I don't enjoy washing with chemical products, but this is the one product I enjoy using all the time! What I enjoy so far is the natural ingredients, it's non-oily after washing it, but the main thing is to scrub away my scars. Hopefully, this product will make a great difference as time progress. I LOVE DermaE products and i think this one is my favorite!! Excellent product with fantastic ingredients! Makes a wonderful prep for any sunless tanning product! My face used to peel after i applied tanning products if i didn't exfoliate first and for some silly reason i never did!! These soft yet mighty pearls do a real number on any peeling skin!! I use it all over my upper body and my skin has never ever looked this great!! I'm 57 and i really feel my skin looks very good!! Whenever i get any sort of scaling on my face i just wash with this and my skin appears young and dewy...i have lots of sun damage from years in the sun without sunscreen (ouch!) and this scrub is helping reverse it! First this product is way overpriced - but I will pay that if it works.



I can't say that this did anything at all for my acne - but it is a pretty 'harsh' scrub and it is great for exfoliation. My skin feels smooth and clean when I use it.



While I wish I had some miracle results on the acne side - I would use it again for the 'scrub factor'. Do wish it was a little less expensive.

I have been using Pernox on and off for 25yrs but stopped using it for the past year to try gentler products for maturing skin (over 40yr old female). I am now breaking out more than ever! I am so glad I read the reviews for Pernox on Amazon because it reminded me of my old favorite product. So far, it's only been a day, but I can feel it really cleaning my face, and drying up the breakouts! The sulfar is great for healing, the salicylic acid and scrub will hopefully peel away my scars! I use cetaphil cream after I wash in the evening. I am so relieved to have Pernox back in my medicine cabinet and will never be without it again!

My teenage son starting breaking out, I started using all types of acne products- nothing seemed to work. I asked my neighbor what acne product her teenage son was on (I noticed his skin looked great after a battle with acne). She metioned this product. This product is great. I am not the type to clean my face with anything other than when I shower in the morning, using normal bath soap. I am stationed in Afghanistan and the air here in Kabul is full of "stuff". I ordered the stuff to try to minimize what the air and dirt was doing to my face. I cleans extremely well, including pores, and leaves my face tingling as if I had just had a facial. I look forward to cleaning my face with the Nivea 3 times a week. I really like that the scrubbing particles in this product are fine and concentrated. It has a mild, manly scent too. I wish it left my face feeling more tingly, but maybe that will be in the "new and improved" version.
