As a person with fair, dry skin, I can't say enough good about this lotion. It has urea, plus great moisturizers and makes my skin feel soft and supple. Sometimes I add a little baby oil, when the weather is extremely dry (winter overheated rooms) and that seems to do the trick.

This is an awesome lotion for all parts of your body! It is not oily or sticky and lasts at least 12 hours. It has a pleasant smell too. My Dermatologist recommended it for my blotchy facial complextion and for eczema. I highly recommend this product and even though it sounds a bit pricey it is not only worth it but it also goes a long way and it really works wonders. I give it a 10/10.

I have bumps on my thighs and the back of my arms that nothing has cured, including Betamide Lotion. In fact, it seemed to make the bumps worse. The bottle says to discontinue for a while if irritation occurs, so that's what I've done. I'm not sure I should start up again. I was disappointed because the reviews indicate this product has been very helpful to some people with this or similar conditions. I had high hopes. But for whatever reason, I saw no improvement at all. The directions said to apply up to 4x daily. An expensive experiment. I'm now using Aveeno Intense Relief Repair Cream before bed, which seems to work much better. It's very thick and soothing, unlike the Betamide Lotion, which is very thin and, for me at least, actually irritating.

This product was recommended for my husband. He is a tool and die maker. His hands are assaulted by harsh solvents at work and then he washes them with something equivalent to sandpaper. In addition to that, it's been a rough winter in the Midwest. Added up, it has resulted in dried, rough hands with tattered cuticles. He has been using this product on his hands and feet for a few days. He is noticing improvement.



I decided to give it a try, even though I don't experience chronic skin problems. This stuff works! My hands look and feel well hydrated. My skin doesn't seem as thin and fragile as it normally does at this time of year. My hands look younger! I use it once a day before bed.



The light fragrance reminds me of almond with a tiny hint of vanilla. The scent is very vague and unnoticeable unless you deliberately bring your hands to your nose and intentionally take a smell. The viscosity was more liquid than I imagined. However, the skin absorbs it quickly and no filmy, tacky or oily residue is left behind.



It works better than L'Occitane or Aveeno.

I was very hesitant in getting this because of the negative reviews. I did not try it on my body yet, however, I did try it on the carpet because I had some sticky wax on it from a couple of days. I put some of it with some baby oil on a sponge and scrubbed the floor. And it went right off and gave the room a smell of coconut, which is not the smell of the baby oil. The 'lotion'is creamy green and the carpet become soft.

First of all, this product reeks. I tried using it by itself and the smell is really disgusting. I ended up using Johnson's Softlotion 24-Hour Moisturizer, 14-Ounce Pump Bottles (Pack of 4) to mask the smell.



I needed something for occasional dry hands and this didn't do much for me. It feels strange too. The product is very greasy: you can still see the grease after working it into your skin but it feels dry yet sticky. Its just a terrible feeling (the Johnson's softlotion helps with that though).



I gave this two stars become the pump is easy to use and isn't too small/narrow. I would recommend Eucerin Dry Skin Therapy Intensive Repair Hand Creme Plus, 2.7 Ounces (Pack of 4) for dry hands, it is expensive but works well and doesn't smell (though I often use Johnson's softlotion for a good smell after the eucerin).

I tried to use this in larger quantities for an exfoliating routine. I put an excessive amount on, wait about 10-20 min and exfoliate using exfoliating gloves. I do this for my feet and hands sometimes and this winter being especially harsh decided it was time. It didn't do much. It didn't even penetrate my heels enough to help slough away any dead skin. I'm sure it's better in small doses as a hand cream or body cream but if you want something heavy duty in heavy doses for exfoliating rituals you may want to look elsewhere. Too much will just makes you feel dirty, sticky and look and feel greasy. I am trying Olay body quench for this routine in hopes I have better luck. Just waiting for that to ship. I am very athletic and I go swimming a lot. I would say an hour after putting on this product, your skin is very slippery. While getting out of a pool holding onto the rail or climbing out, my legs and hands had me slip right back into the pool. I see that the substance obviously retains moisture but I wouldn't think this stuff would work as a "water-proof" type of cream. Other then that, it's sensitive to eczema skin and does leave it supple and soft.

This cream is absolutely amazing! I moved from California to extremely dry Arizona. In California I could get away with minimal lotion because of the humidity, but now I cannot drench my body enough. My little girl has eczema and gets rashes on her skin. I have tried everything - from over the counter to what the doctors prescribed - nothing took the redness and rashes away. That is, until I tried CeraVe. A friend from work recommended it and the same night I went to buy it at a drugstore. It is expensive but I thought, well, my little girl is worth it if it works. After just a few applications (I put it on her in the evening and in the morning), the rash that was inside her elbow for several months (and that we treated with all kinds of things, including antibiotics), is starting to disappear! My son has bad eczema and we've been through tons of different creams including prescription creams recommended by his pediatrician. We went to a pediatric dermatologist and she recommend cerave. Right away, we noticed a big difference in our son's skin. Usually, I would slather on aquaphor/eucerin, etc., and less than an hour later, his skin was back to feeling like sand paper.
