No Shedding For Me
I've owned this kabuki for 2 months. I own 2. One of the most important topics people want to know....Did this brush shed? My answer: NO

Just maybe my method or way of applying mineral make-up was the reason why it didn't shed. It would not be fair for me just to come on here and say it did not shed without explaining how I apply my minerals. To give you an unbiased review I need to explain how I apply the mineral powders because I have always known, and we all do, that everyone applies their minerals differently. For some, they apply many layers and are more harsh rubbing the brush against their face. Others apply only one layer and rub the brush very lightly on their face. Some use ONE kabuki brush for ALL mineral products (foundation, finishing powders, blushes, etc), while others buy a different brush for every product. I do feel that the shedding or non-shedding of a kabuki brush can be caused by the method or ways that people apply their minerals. However, I am not saying that is the ONLY cause of a kabuki shedding hair.

I use two of these brushes for two different products. (A mineral powder foundation of a brand I don't care to disclose). I use a second kabuki for my mineral finishing powder, a brand of finishing powder that is not important for me to disclose here since this review should only be about the this certain kabuki brush! I apply my mineral foundation powder and finishing powder very lightly and I only apply one layer (about 2x a day). I never press hard on my face. Also, I never do it in a hurry because I wake up on time! lol. Did the brush EVER shed??? No. I have washed it under warm water at least once every 2 weeks and it still has not shed.

In the end, I guess my review of this kabuki brush cannot speak for those that apply more mineral make-up than me or differently from me. I have no idea how the shedding of this brush would result on those who apply more layers of minerals than me; those who apply it more than 2x a day; those who use one brush for all minerals; or for those that like to rub the brush harder on their face; or for those that do everything I just mentioned...Color Me Beautiful Kabuki Brush

Bonus: This brush is very soft and applies even coverage of the minerals.

Over the years i've gotten a few of kabuki brushes from sephora & bare minerals and all seem to fall apart on me! I've had this one over a year and its never lost one bristle!! Amazing!!!Color Me Beautiful Kabuki Brush

I hate to give a bad review, I would rather not say anything at all but then the company would not learn and future customers might buy this without knowing. So here goes.
