I purchased the BP Monitor 6/12 and it arrived 6/18, shipping is fast and ordering is great. I tested the BP Monitor out as soon as i got home from my medical school, it works perfectly and there are no glitches the reading is acurate and setting the time, day and date with year and alarm is easy. the numbers are large enough to read without glkasses.

i am impressed with this unit so now i don't have to go to the drugstore to get a BP reading when i have to go to pick up allergy medicine, ect.

the cuff is large for arms 14.2 to 17.7, medium is for arms 9.2 to 14.2.

i normally would get a medium, but the large cuff fits good even if it overlaps a little. I might have to get the Medium cuff.

if i could i wood rate this a 10 pkus 100% approved by a med student

The memory function is particularly useful for keeping track of blood pressure and pulse. I bought this blood pressure monitor to replace the inaccurate wrist monitor that I bought at Rite Aid after reading that this was one of the top-rated ones by Consumer Reports.



I haven't been able to check my blood pressure yet as the pediatric cuff they sent was sized for a child. It works fine on the arm of my six year old grandson. I am an average size person with average size arms, but there was no way I could use the pediatric cuff.



I wish they had sent something larger than the pediatric cuff.



I had to order the adult-size cuff for an additional $27.



I gave it only four stars because of the wrong pediatric cuff. Shipping was very fast, and I am a happy camper otherwise.

This is a very good blood pressure unit, easy to use, comfortable. It never over inflates - other units occasionally decide to use a second reinflation cycle, which way over inflates and hurts.



The only complaint that I have with it is that the wall wart it comes with generates a huge amount of elf/emf (whether the unit is in use or not). So, I'd suggest keeping the wall wart (not necessarily the bp unit itself) at least 4 to 5 feet, maybe more, away from your head while sleeping. I have measured the wall wart that comes with the hem 780 to generate much less elf/emf. Unfortuneatly the 780 does occasionally overinflate, which I hate. Also, the 773 uses a separate on and off button from start, and the 780 uses only one button, a bit less user friendly.

This product seems to be well made, and arrived on time. I have two complaints. First, the photo implies that a stethescope comes with the 'kit'-it does not. This is deceptive advertising at the least. My other complaint though small, is that the tubing was disconnected from the cuff, and my ex-wife called me asking what was wrong with it. I don't know if instructions came with it or not, since I bought it as a gift and had it sent to her address.



I thought I was getting a 'kit' but they 'got' me instead. I don't care how great a product is or how fast it arrived, if a company uses sleazey practices to get my money they are once and done. I'll never purchase anything from them again. Who knows what they might try next?

Talking to my doctor, he said that was totally possible. But when I told him the variance between readings, he said that there should not be that wide of a variance. Another disappointment is CLEARLY marked on the box: "STOP!! Please Read Before Opening: Due to the nature of this product, product that has been worn or used cannot be returned to the place of purchase." How are you supposed to try it without wearing it? It goes around your wrist, no bodily fluids contact it, what makes that non-returnable? Clothing that does not fit can be returned. This is the first time I have felt compelled enough to write a review on the countless number of things that I have purchased on Amazon.com, but I really feel like I have been sold a piece of junk!

I have had this monitor for about a month now and I like it. It comes with a nice case and is easy to store beside my computer. I have compared the readings to other BP monitors and it is accurate. If you want convenience, I would recommend this monitor. I have a strong paulse so maybe that is why the readings are accurate. If you paulse is weak, perhaps it would not work quite as well but that is probably true for all electronic BP machines unless you purchase one of those expensive hospital kind. The numbers are easy to read and it also stores previous readings so you can go back and review you old reading.
